Summer Meal Program 2023

Hello Families,

GRAB & GO, MEAL DELIVERY & IN-PERSON MEALS AVAILABLE THIS SUMMER FOR ALL CHILDREN

We have an important announcement about our summer food program! Please share this information with other families in the area who are not enrolled in a Humboldt Unified School

We will have three options for families to receive free meals for their children over the summer months.

Option 1: In-person meals Monday-Friday starting May 30th at Mountain View Elementary (breakfast & lunch), Coyote Springs Elementary (lunch only), Lake Valley Elementary (breakfast & lunch) No registration is required for this option. Just show up and eat. Adults can eat breakfast for $2.00 and lunch is only $3.00. ALL CHILD MEALS MUST BE CONSUMED ON SITE. WEEKLY GRAB AND GO OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THESE SITES.

Option 2: Five-day meal pack pick up at Humboldt Elementary School. Important: You do not have to live in the Dewey-Humboldt area to register. Any family with children that is able to pick up meals from this location is encouraged to register. Prescott, Prescott Valley, Mayer & Chino families are encouraged to register. Option 3: Free Five-day meal pack delivery. Please use this option if picking up from Humboldt Elementary or participating in one of our daily in person sites is not an option. We can only deliver within the boundaries of the Humboldt School District. Registration closes on May 16th for this option.

These meals are for ALL children 18 and younger regardless of what school district they are enrolled. Let us feed your kids over the summer months. This helps to reduce your food budget and it keeps our staff working over the summer months. It's a WIN WIN!

GRAB & GO, ENTREGA DE COMIDAS Y COMIDAS EN PERSONA DISPONIBLES ESTE VERANO PARA TODOS LOS NIÑOS

¡Tenemos un anuncio importante sobre nuestro programa de alimentos de verano! Comparta esta información con otras familias en el área que no están inscritas en una escuela unificada de Humboldt.

Tendremos tres opciones para que las familias reciban comidas gratis para sus hijos durante los meses de verano.

Opción 1: comidas en persona de lunes a viernes a partir del 30 de mayo en Mountain View Elementary (desayuno y almuerzo), Coyote Springs Elementary (solo almuerzo), Lake Valley Elementary (desayuno y almuerzo) No es necesario registrarse para esta opción. Solo preséntate y come. Los adultos pueden desayunar por $2.00 y el almuerzo cuesta solo $3.00. TODAS LAS COMIDAS PARA NIÑOS DEBEN CONSUMIRSE EN EL SITIO. LA OPCIÓN SEMANAL GRAB AND GO NO ESTÁ DISPONIBLE EN ESTOS SITIOS.

Opción 2: Recogida del paquete de comida para cinco días en la Escuela Primaria Humboldt. Importante: No es necesario que viva en el área de Dewey-Humboldt para registrarse. Se recomienda que se registre cualquier familia con niños que pueda recoger comidas en este lugar. Se anima a las familias de Prescott, Prescott Valley, Mayer y Chino a registrarse. Opción 3: Entrega gratuita de paquete de comida de cinco días. Utilice esta opción si recoger a su hijo en la Escuela Primaria Humboldt o participar en uno de nuestros sitios diarios en persona no es una opción. Solo podemos realizar entregas dentro de los límites del Distrito Escolar de Humboldt. El registro cierra el 16 de mayo para esta opción.

Estas comidas son para TODOS los niños menores de 18 años, independientemente del distrito escolar en el que estén inscritos. Permítanos alimentar a sus hijos durante los meses de verano. Esto ayuda a reducir su presupuesto para alimentos y mantiene a nuestro personal trabajando durante los meses de verano. ¡Es un GANAR GANAR!
